eBay can be a great source for original posters. A search for “original poster” on ebay.com currently reveals a whopping 383,540 search results, with posters priced from USD 0.99 for the not-so-iconic items to USD 3,000,000 (plus USD 500 for shipping…) for a set of nine fantasy and science fiction movie posters or USD 4,500,000 (shipping is free!) for THE MUMMY (1932, one sheet).

api741 is a movie poster store based in Torino, Italy, with more than 12,000 (!) items. In addition to movie posters, api741 also has a handful of Italian advertising posters. Prices start at USD 3 and go up to USD 2,350, though most of the posters sell for a rather affordable price.

CiNéMa KiNOMaNia movie memorabilia

Your french connection / Movies are one of the passions of monsieurkinoman, that he shares with many genres of original movie posters, lobby cards and pressbooks. The ebay shop is based in France and has approximately 2,000 items. Prices are in the range of USD 10 to USD 220.

CineMasterpieces

David A. Lieberman’s eBay movie poster store contains around 2,500 movie posters. The store features a wide selection of great movie posters, from the iconic 1942 Casablanca (US one sheet version) for USD 125,995 to the 1980 Private Benjamin (French) film poster for affordable USD 29. Even though there are less expensive posters available, it may be hard to find a real bargain at the CineMastserpieces eBay store.

ESTAMPE MODERNE

The French eBay store ESTAMPE MODERN offers an attractive selection of original posters as well as collectible objects (old toy cars, etc.) and photographs. The store only sells original posters and original later printings, but no reprints. You can find iconic poster art from famous poster artists such as Cassandre, Cappiello, Broders, and other well-known poster designers. freddymiet.com collectible

Freddy Miet is a French Art Director and Photographer. His eBay shop offers a variety of movie and vintage posters, more than 3,800 in total. The posters are roughly categorized. As a specialty, freddymiet.com collectible has more than 400 perfume posters, 400 lingerie posters, 220 Wald Disney posters, and 60 Stars Wars posters. Unfortunately, many of the photos shown are a little bit amateurish.

Himeros Art

Himeros Art has approximately 180 posters, whereof more than 60 posters are chocolate advertising posters. So, if you are looking for a chocolate poster, Himeros Art may be the place to go. In addition, the store also features more than 30 entertainment posters. Himeros Art is a store owned by Larsi Art Ltd. based in Tel Aviv.

l’art et l’automobile gallery

Small eBay store with 30-40 posters, most of which are Razzia posters featuring automobiles. arteauto is from l’art et l’automobile, a large showroom and gallery for original and rare classic automobilia collectibles and art. arteauto is an eBay member since 1998.

Letitia Morris Gallery

Letitia Morris Gallery is the eBay store of the gallery with the same name located in Melbourne, Australia. The gallery is owned by the art dealer Brett Ross, who is dealing with posters since the early 1990s. You can find some beautiful Bally and Campari posters in the gallery’s eBay store.

Litho line posters

US based Litho linen posters has almost 900 items in his eBay poster store, though not all of them are posters. Unfortunately, the items are not categorized, which makes it a little harder to browse through the store. Litho linen offers approximately 50 United Airlines posters and a handful of TWA and American Airlines posters.

Lizisart

eBay member since 2013, Lizisart offers more than 500 original posters, thereof more than 50 Razzia posters. Most of the posters are in the lower price range of USD 500 or less. Lizisart also accepts best price offers.

Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend lizisartnow, even though the seller has good ratings. We had issues with an order posted earlier this year. It seems that they have posters in the ebay store that are no longer available, which other customers also mentioned in feedbacks in the past. The seller answered promptly to messages, however, it took several months to resolve the issue.

MazoneCollezione

The Italian eBay shop MazoneCollezione mostly sells film posters and a few beautiful Italian lithographs (later printings from the 1950s). The lithographs cost between USD 400-500 and are the most expensive posters in this store.

modernism101 rare design books

Even though modernism101 rare design books is not exactly a poster store, it is still a great resource for poster enthusiasts. The store offers around 90 posters, but more importantly, modernism101 rare design books has a great selection of rare and out-of-print design books to choose from. All the 1,100 items are categorized and, therefore, it is easy to browse through the wonderful book selection.

Mrs.Miniver Movie Poster Store

Mrs.Miniver Movie Poster Store features some of the finest film posters that exist on our planet, including “A Trip To The Moon”. Besides this iconic movie poster, the store offers approximately 300 fine posters. The owner of the store is a well-known expert for Star Wars posters, which are also available in the store. Beware, those rare and sought-after posters don’t come as a bargain.

Paris Fine Arts

Paris Fine Arts offers a small but very fine collection of French vintage posters created by famous poster artists including Mucha, Cappiello, and Dorival. The online poster shop contains around 130 posters. The eBay store complements their well-known shop at the Paris Flea Market that exists since the 1970s.

popartposter is an Italian based eBay seller, currently offering almost 100 posters. The collection includes several Andy Warhol posters and some Italian advertising posters, including Martini and Campari later printings.

Posterclassics is specialized in French and Italian original vintage posters. The eBay store features some iconic posters like the Dorival Mont Blanc triptych, the Cappiello E&A MELE NAPOLI, or the Nizzoli Cordial Campari (one sheet version). Those posters are certainly not cheap, but Posterclassics offers most posters at a reasonable price. What a collection! If you are shopping for classic vintage posters, POSTERCOLLECTION is a must visit eBay poster resource. The store boasts more than 6,000 original vintage posters. The prices range from USD 20 to USD 89,000 for the original 1933 New York King Kong poster (Swedish release). You will find around 1,000 (!) European travel posters, 1,000 (!) transportation posters, and posters from all other categories you can imagine. Posteritati Vintage Movie Posters is an eBay store with an enormous collection of more than 8,000 posters. The most expensive movie poster is, again, a King Kong poster from 1933 (Argentine release). However, there is also a vast selection of lower priced items. More than 5,000 items are available for USD 100 or less – Posteritati literally has a movie poster for everyone. Posteritati showcases the eclectic collection of vintage and contemporary movie posters in its gallery in New York City.

posterpro is the eBay store of well-known New York City based The Ross Art Group. The poster collection consists of approximately 2,500 fine vintage posters, whereof around 700 are offered on eBay. posterpro’s posters are not categorized, which makes it a little bit harder to browse. Nevertheless, you should not miss this store featuring wonderful vintage poster art, including some rare Roger Broders or Marcello Nizzoli posters.

Posters Please

If you are interested in original vintage posters, you probably know Rennert’s Gallery in New York City. Jack Rennert has over 40 years of experience in collecting original posters. Posters Please is the eBay shop of The International Poster Center owned by Rennert. Posters are not categorized in this store. Considering the fantastic selection, it is absolutely worth checking out this eBay store, however, don’t expect to find a bargain.

Rare Posters and Prints
