Owner of Harvey Abrams-BOOKS, an antiquarian book business that also deals in original posters and artwork related to the Olympic Games and sports subjects. Scholarly research is the top priority in developing the personal collection which evolved into the International Institute for Sport History (IISOH) Library & Museum, a non-profit corporation organized to operate a library & museum for sports and the Olympic Games. HABooks buys and sells original Olympic Games posters and art, but most acquisitions that are made go to the collection of the IISOH Museum. Wearing many hats as the businessman, CEO of the non-profit, private collector, photographer, poster designer, publisher, researcher/writer/consultant. Residing half time in central Pennsylvania and half time in Vienna, Austria. Harvey Abrams-Books will remain open at the request of the IISOH Board of Directors and a store will be located inside the IISOH Museum when constructed (as the IISOH gift shop, also subject to change). Primary goal is to establish an endowment for the IISOH, open offices in Pennsylvania and Vienna and develop the Institute's collections.
